Job Duties
- Architect a system that is tailored to the client's functional needs
- Contain scope creep and tendencies to overarchitect a solution
- Utilize manufacturing process knowledge to understand the new system's impact on supply chain, financial, manufacturing and distribution management.
- Address possible technical issues during the design process.
- Write technical specifications, communicate technical specs to
- Developers and also program modifications.
- Write test scenarios and cases and perform testing.
- Perform production migration using datasets.
- Train users on their customized ERP solution.
- Provide excellent customer interface skills throughout the entire process.
Position Requirements
- Successful full life-cycle Tier 1 ERP implementations required with at least one of the following: Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards, SAP, Peoplesoft, IFS, or Intentia.
- Experience writing technical specs based on business requirements analysis.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and writing SQL stored procedures.
- Experience writing test scenarios and cases.
- Production migration experience using datasets.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong competency in MS Office Suite and other consulting tools.
- Strong customer relationship skills.
- Candidate should be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Competencies
- Microsoft Dynamics AX certifications are strongly desired.
- Previous experience Architect experience.
- Experience programming using X++ is strongly preferred.
- B.S. degree in related field
